at Anthony Lakes Mountain Resort
Anthony Lakes Mountain Resort is open for 23/24 season. Come check out the fresh snow! Tickets available on their website www.anthonylakes.com
Located in Baker County along the Elkhorn Scenic Byway, this little-known mountain riders’ hideaway is home to some of the best powder skiing in Oregon. Located just 19 miles west of I-84 near Baker City.
The Rock Garden chair lift serves 1,100 acres of lift-accessed terrain with twenty one runs and over 900 vertical feet. The dry climate in eastern Oregon, coupled with the 9,000-foot peaks of the Elkhorn Range result in a powder so dry the Anthony Lakes crew has to occasionally water it down around the lifts.
Skiers can also cross-country ski or snowshoe on more than 30 km of nordic trails through the Anthony Lakes Basin and Elkhorn Range of the Blue Mountains. The world class Anthony Lakes Nordic Center was featured as one of the Top 5 Nordic Ski Areas in North America by National Geographic Traveler.
Want a little something different? A Cat-ski operator and full guide service leads adventure seekers into the backcountry bowls and chutes within sight of lift-accessed groomers.
You can save some money on daily lift tickets when you book any stay and ski package with nearby Baker County Lodging partners. For more information on passes and lift ticket prices visit Anthony Lakes.
Anthony Lakes operates under a special-use permit from the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest and is an Equal Opportunity Provider and Employer.
