Anthony Lakes Mountain Resort Season Opening

Welcome to the 2024 ski season at ALMR!
With over 8″ of new snow this weeks, Anthony Lakes is excited to announce opening day is this Saturday, December 16!
With a base elevation of 7100 feet, Anthony Lakes was able to avoid the rain yesterday and with temps staying cool this week, it’s looking to be a great opening weekend. Come up to make the first tracks of the season and enjoy live music by Boise’s Hillfolk Noir. We’ll be making turns, jamming out to live tunes, and getting our ski season stoke on!
Lift tickets will be available for online purchase starting Tuesday, December 12. We highly recommend that you purchase your lift tickets online for a quicker ticket booth experience. Of course, tickets can be purchased on the mountain too.
Operations and Amenities:
Anthony Lakes will have full lodge amenities available including the Cafe, Starbottle, Rental Shop, Ski School, and the Nordic Outpost. The Anthony Lakes Mercantile is stocked full of brand new logo wear, so come up and make some turns and get your Christmas shopping done, too.
Creston’s Yurt at the top of the mountain is also scheduled to operate Saturday and Sunday. Offering lunch with a view, Creston’s is your top of the mountain warming spot.
Sno-Park permits: Oregon Sno-Park permits will be available to purchase in the Ticket Booth and Retail Shop.
Season passes: Season passes will be available for pick up at the Trailhead in Baker City through Thursday, then they’ll move to the ticket booth at the ski area for pick-up on Saturday.
Grooming: We expect to have Broadway, Variety, Vista, Road Run, and Alice’s Wonderland groomed on the Alpine side and limited cross-country trails groomed. Please stay tuned for a complete list of groomed alpine runs and Nordic trails later this week.
December Operating Schedule:
- Open daily December 16 through January 1
- Close at 1 p.m. Christmas Eve ($5 off)
- Closed on Christmas Day
