Baker City 150th Anniversary Celebration

Residents and visitors alike can expect all kinds of fun activities for the whole family, as we celebrate 150 years as an incorporated city! Pack up the car and come to Baker City for the weekend. Find a historic family connection with Baker City, or create your own!
Popular local singer and musician Frank Carlson will kick off the celebration Friday, Aug. 9, in Geiser-Pollman Park from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Events continue on Saturday, Aug. 10, with breakfast at Geiser-Pollman Park at 8:30 a.m., and Art in Central Park from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with booths, performances, competitions and art.
Main Street will be closed from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday to accommodate numerous activities, including a street dance with Bag of Hammers starting at 7 p.m.
