Outdoor programming at the Oregon Trail Interpretive Center
• Ranger programs at 11:30 & 1:30 Thur-Sun.
• Info table on the front porch from 9-3 Thurs-Sun.
• Norm! The Wild Mustang will be there at 10-11 on Fri, July 2.
• Great Bear Folk Theatre performing on the front porch at 10:30, 12:30, 2:30 on Sat & Sun, and at Geiser Pollman Park at 5pm on Sat, July 3.
The new tentative indoor reopening date is Thursday, July 8.
July 2
Kick the holiday weekend off with First Friday Art Walk in Baker City at multiple galleries throughout downtown and at Churchill School.
July 2-5
Lots of festivities to explore in Sumpter during the annual 4th of July Sumpter Flea Market
July 3-4
Ride the Sumpter Valley Railroad with four short run steam locomotive trains departing from the Sumpter Depot daily
July 3
Huntington Fourth of July Parade at 11 a.m. starts at the Huntington High School and gowns down Main Street
July 3
Saturday evening Pioneer Performances at Geisrer Pollman Park continue with Great Bear Folk Theatre performing the musical "Pioneer Song" at 5 p.m. at Geiser-Pollman Park in Baker City. Sponsored by National Historic Oregon Trail Interpretive Center and Trail Tenders, these programs are free and open to the public.
July 3 -4
Haines Stampede Rodeo. Always the 3rd and 4thof July, Rodeo action starts at 5 p.m. on Saturday and 1:30 on Sunday followed by fireworks at dusk.
July 4
Haines Day Fourth of July celebration
Cowboy Breakfast at the Grange 7-10 a.m.
Parade at 10 a.m.
Barbecue lunch at 11 a.m.
