Crossroads Art Center 1980s Dance Party Fundraiser

Crossroads Carnegie Art Center is thrilled to bring back Day of Dance in 2024, in September, at Geiser Pollman Park.
In 2022, Crossroads hosted their first Day of Dance event in conjunction with National Dance Day, with huge crowds enjoying this free event in the park. Crossroads welcomed a diverse set of local and regional dance groups to perform, including performers representing China, Laos, and Indonesia and many more.
Crossroads will be hosting a 1980s Dance Party Fundraiser on Saturday, March 9th , at the Baker Elks Lodge, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Ticket price is $25.00 for couples or $15.00 for singles, which can be paid at the door. A DJ will be playing all the classic 1980s rock and pop to dance to! Crossroads will also have costume contests, raffle drawings and a 50/50 drawing all to help raise the $7,500 to host the event. The Elks Lodge will have a no host bar at the event.
The goal is for this to be an annual event to ensure that Day of Dance can happen every year.
Crossroads is thrilled to announce that Irish Dance Idaho and Boise Traditional Chinese Dancers have already confirmed for the September 21st Day of Dance Event. More groups have been contacted and all updates will be placed on the Crossroads Social Media and website!
