Halloween Night Train

It’s Halloween Express time on the Historic Sumpter Valley Railroad, Saturday and Sunday, October 27 and 28. On Friday, take a six-mile round trip night train, departing from the Sumpter Depot at 7:00 or 8:30 p.m.
On Saturday, the train departs from the Sumpter Depot at 12:30, 2:00 or 3:30 p.m. Passengers will be greeted with lots of decorations and a haunted train with treat bags for everyone.
While in Sumpter, be sure to check out the Haunted Gold Dredge and listen to ghost stories of the past. Rumor has it that Joe Bush, the dredge worker from long ago will likely be making an appearance, so come join the fun. There may even be a few more surprises that you’ll have to wait for. So be sure to wear a costume for a spooky trip back in time.
