Miners Jubilee
July 19 - July 21
Miners’ Jubilee is a 3-day celebration of the county’s gold mining heritage that has been held annually in one form or another since the late 1800s. Miners’ Jubilee is held on the third weekend of July in Baker City, Oregon. Miners’ Jubilee makes the heritage and history of Baker County come to life with a parade, a wide range of vendors in the park, a huge food court, sidewalk fair, mining demonstrations, and kids’ activities. The park vendors and activities are open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., each day.
This year’s featured music acts on the pavilion stage include Strutz (from Colorado), Sequoia Rose (California), Elwood (Oregon), Bag of Hammers (Oregon), and Camille Hearne (Oregon). Go to www.minersjubilee.com for days and times.
At the county fair rodeo arena, one block from the park, the Challenge of Champions professional bronc riding Friday night and bull riding Saturday night create a full weekend of events that draws family and class reunions to Baker City every year.
